Who ensures that the contractor or remodeler does a good job converting my Los Angeles garage?

The answer to this question is fairly easy, it would be the Los Angeles city inspector. When you first begin the project to convert your Los Angeles garage you have to obtain permits and licenses so that your conversion is legal. Illegally doing the conversion will end up costing you so much more time and money that's it's better to start off right.

For passing inspections for house remodeling, you can contact our trusted partners Los Angeles Home Remodeler.com. Before you pass inspection for anything you will need architectural designs, our sister company also provides does here Architectural Designs.com.

Once you have obtained these records it let's local city inspectors know that your garage will need to be looked at the completion of the project. You will schedule an appointment for someone to come and look over your garage.  What are they checking for? Well for starters that your contractor or remodeler made sure the conversion was done with the latest building codes in mind, especially important if you will be renting the unit out. After that they will look for general things, the construction was completed, foundation and roof are safe, fire alarms work. Basically cover anything that keeps a person safe. If your contractor or remodeler has done their job you will pass with no issue but if there is an issue they did not. In this case, call then and tell then what the city inspector said so the issue can be fixed.
